It's a busy month at Wye Marsh with lots to do and see to kick off the spring and summer season.

Wye Marsh and Delawana Inn are partnering on a special Mother Earth' contest in celebration of Mother's Day. You can win one of two summer weekend vacation packages by entering on line through the Wye Marsh Face Book page www.facebook.com/wyemarshwildlifecentrebefore May 13th , 2012.

The packages include two nights' accommodation, two breakfasts and two dinners for two adults and two children (15 and under). There is a supervised children's program (Day-care, VIK Club and Teen Squad), evening entertainment , family Wye Marsh programs, and a full social itinerary including activities for adults, children and the entire family.

Spring planting time is just around the corner and rain barrels can be ordered now at Wye Marsh for a May 20th pick-up on site. You can order your rain barrel on by visiting: www.rain-barrel. ca/wyemarsh . By ordering a rain barrel your purchase will support the Wye Marsh and you will receive free admission to the Marsh.

Doggie Days at Wye Marsh are every Saturday at Wye Marsh and if you bring your canine friend on Saturday May 5th, the admission is only $5. All dogs must be on a leash and they cannot enter the Birds of Prey area.
