Girls Night Out event comes to Midland 0

Girls Night Out featuring Joanna Goodwin and comedian Leland Klassen is coming to Midland on May 7, 2012.

Girls Night Out (GNO) began in 2005 to offer women an evening of fun, faith and fellowship.

The all-Canadian GNO concept has spread to the United States, the UK and New Zealand with more than 200 events planned outside of Canada. Everyone who attends Girls Night Out will receive a complimentary copy of the heartwarming award-winning Canadian anthology A Second Cup of Hot Apple Cider.

This dynamic event engages women with humour through comedy, inspires them with a relevant message, as well as offers time for fellowship (with lots of chocolate) and ministry. Eric Spath is the event's creator. "After 160 plus events, we feel pretty good that this is a good place to invite your family and your friends to. We have dynamic Canadian speakers, who really can relate to you. And we think that's a safe place, and we like that we can create a safe place for women that's fun."

"It was an awesome night out! Great fellowship and the desserts were fantastic!" Helen Casselman.

Girls Night Out will be at Midland Alliance Church at 7:30pm on May 7. Tickets are $5 and are available at By The Book, at the door or online at ticketwindow.ca.
