Dominik Hasek says the Detroit Red Wings and Tampa Bay Lightning may be interested in giving him another shot at the NHL.
Hasek, 47, went public last Friday with the news that he wanted to return to the NHL after a four-year absence.
Now he has told Denik Sport he has met with teams, mentioning the Lightning and Red Wings in particular, and that he is working on a deal.
"But I don't know the answer yet," said Hasek, who most recently played with Moscow Spartak of the KHL in 2010-11.
The six-time Vezina Trophy winner recently visited his son, who attends Michigan State.
"Of course, my agent, Ritch Winter, knows about what I want," Hasek said. "But I don't want to comment on that any further. Nothing changed in my plans. But right now, I don't have anything in front of me. So I'm waiting. I think in June the decision will be made.
"I know where I would like to play, but I don't want to talk about it. I think it's better to keep it between the two sides involved. It wouldn't be appropriate to publish anything right now."
