Albert Bert'Dubeau, mayor's husband, dies

Albert (Bert) Dubeau, husband of Penetanguishene Mayor Anita Dubeau, died suddenly last week at Huronia District Hospital.
He was 73.
A long-time employee of the Mental Health Centre, Dubeau was a past executive member of the Penetanguishene Minor Hockey League and inductee of the Penetanguishene Sports Hall of Fame.
A memorial mass was celebrated at St. Ann's Church, Penetanguishene. Interment followed at St. Ann's Cemetery. A celebration of his life followed at the Penetanguishene Legion.
Donations were encouraged to the Penetanguishene Sports Hall of Fame or to the Parkinson Society of Ontario would be appreciated.
